Our story began in 1977.
Since 1977, J.B. DeVenne has specialized in the development of inorganic binders for foundry molds and cores. Based in Berea, Ohio, we bring together materials knowledge and an understanding of the practical demands of metal casting.
Our primary product family is Cast Clean: inorganic binder and catalyst systems developed to help foundries improve environmental performance without sacrificing casting quality or productivity.

Every foundry has its own sands, alloys, equipment, and production targets. Our approach combines standard binder formulations with technical evaluation and customer-specific development when an application calls for something different.
A mission bigger than a single product.
We want to help keep manufacturing competitive in North America and Europe, particularly as environmental and emissions requirements become more demanding. Cast Clean and foundries represent the majority of our business, but our materials expertise extends beyond metal casting.
